Come play pickleball with us in Yreka and Montague in beautiful Northern California! Whether you’re just learning pickleball, or are visiting the Yreka area, or have been playing for years, you’re welcome!
Montague has two permanent courts and two other courts that use portable nets. We also play at the YMCA in Yreka with three indoor courts, especially during wet winter weather. Note: the Yreka YMCA requires you to be either a member or pay a fee for a day pass. Yreka also has a single permanent outdoor court in Newton Park.
You can play as a visitor or beginner for free at the Montague and Newton Park outdoor courts, without joining the club. Donations always appreciated, but not expected.

Court Locations
Montague Outdoor Courts
The two permanent and two temporary courts are in Montague City Park, located at the intersection of 13th Street and King Street. The code for the gate is 9606. (Be sure to lock up when you leave.)
You’ll need to bring your own paddles and balls. If you have a large group and want access to the storage lockers with the portable nets, please contact us first.
The courts are available from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week, except when the Shasta Valley Pickleball Club hosts a scramble.
Yreka YMCA Indoor Courts
During bad weather, we play inside at the YMCA in Yreka, located at 350 N Foothill Dr. Y members play for free; visitors need to purchase a day pass.
Yreka Outdoor Court: Newton Park
Yreka has a single permanent outdoor court in Newton Park, located at the intersection of Knapp Street and N. Oregon Street. Open sunrise to sunset.
Find Games on Playtime Scheduler!
Use Playtime Scheduler to find out exactly when and where organized play takes place, and to sign up for specific sessions. Playtime Scheduler is FREE and only requires that you sign up with an email address. Our pickleball friends in Southern Oregon have an excellent explanation for how to use Playtime Scheduler.
Make sure you choose California for state and the “Mount Shasta, Siskiyou Co” for region. Always check to see if a scheduled session is for players at and above a certain level. If you don’t know your level, you’re probably 3.0 or lower.
