Mount Shasta is a great place to play pickleball: eight outdoor courts, friendly people, beautiful scenery! Everyone is welcome, from local newbies to our valued visitors.
We play regularly on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings on the courts at the beautiful Mount Shasta Resort, and people frequently play at other times on other days. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. You can play as a visitor or beginner for free, without joining the club. Donations always appreciated, but not expected.

Court Locations
Mount Shasta Pickleball Outdoor Courts
We have eight outdoor courts at the corner of W A Barr Road and Siskiyou Lake Road, at the Mount Shasta Resort. The courts are on the east side of W A Barr Road, across from a large parking lot beside Lake Siskiyou, and just north of the lake’s dam.
The eight courts have permanent nets, and balls are always available in tubes beside the courts. You’ll find free loaner paddles in a cabinet just outside the middle of the courts, by the parking lot. More loaner paddles are available during officially scheduled play times.
The courts are open to all from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week, except when the Mount Shasta Pickleball Club is holding official events, like a tournament or a scramble.
Caveat! Winters in Mount Shasta often feature periods of snow, which makes outdoor play impossible. In especially cold winters, the nets may be removed to protect them from damage. Winter net removal info is shared on our Facebook page and our email list (see below), and in the News section of this website.

During periods of rain or snow, we often play inside on weekends at Sisson Elementary School gym in downtown Mount Shasta, 601 East Alma Street.
Find Games on Playtime Scheduler!
Use Playtime Scheduler to find out exactly when and where organized play takes place, and to sign up for specific sessions. Playtime Scheduler is FREE and only requires that you sign up with an email address. Our pickleball friends in Southern Oregon have an excellent explanation for how to use Playtime Scheduler.
Make sure you choose California for state and the “Mount Shasta, Siskiyou Co” for region. Always check to see if a scheduled session is for players at and above a certain level. If you don’t know your level, you’re probably 3.0 or lower.

You don’t need to join the club initially. Try it out and see if you like it!
